Who we are
Sanction Games is run by the Sanction Family (TikTok: @sanction1212), based in the United Kingdom. Contact us through the contact page.
What we collect, and why
- Display name: so the host knows what to call you. It is not shown publicly.
- TikTok username: to identify you on the LIVE. It is shown publicly on the contestant board and the LIVE when you book.
- Password: stored only as a one-way scrambled form (Argon2id). We never see or store your actual password. Recovery codes are stored the same way.
- Bookings, game results and points: to run the games and keep your points.
- Your choices: confirmation that you are 18 or over, your acceptance of the rules, and whether you allow operational TikTok messages (optional).
- Security records: sign-up and login events with a shortened network address and browser type, to detect abuse. Kept for 90 days.
We do not collect your phone number, legal name or TikTok password. If you pay a booking fee, we keep the email you give for the receipt and the payment reference; your card details go only to Paystack, our payment provider, and never to us.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits and measure page speed with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which are cookie-free and do not identify you.
Who processes your data
The site is hosted by Vercel and the database by Neon, both in London (UK) data centres. Both are US-based companies and may process limited data outside the UK under their own safeguards. Booking fees are processed by Paystack (a Stripe company). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Security and login records: 90 days.
- Usernames on past weekly boards: removed from public view after 90 days.
- Account, points and booking history: while your account is open. Longer retention periods for records we must keep will be confirmed before launch.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account through the contact page. Deleting an account with pending rewards is handled so that nothing you are owed is lost. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
